Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown, an IHG Hotel

•Staff and check-in: smooth check-in process- friendly and helpful staff very accommodating •Location: Prime spot - Close to town and in walking distance to the city centre/lake side. •Parking: access to paid onsite underground parking- You scan a QR code and pay for this daily for the full duration of stay. This was reasonable and cost $25 per day. Very easy to complete on your phone. •Value for money: Good value for money in comparison to other accommodation options Continental breakfast: amazing options of both hot foods (pancakes, hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms, eggs, tomatoes etc) and fresh fruit and salad on offer. Coffee,tea and juice options as well. Perfect start to the day to fuel up for a day of exploring.

The main lounge area / reception / bar / breakfast open seating - all of this creates a wonderful vibe that I haven’t felt in any other hotel in all these years of my travel. That, clubbed with one of the best staffs of any hotel, was just the needed cherry on the top! Special shoutouts to Paras the duty manager, Sarah, Tami, Yon, and the chefs for being so friendly and helpful always going above and beyond! We had an amazing time, and would love to stay again and meet the same wonderful people. Few more things to note: - it’s a great location - multiple fireplace seatings - gym and sauna are 24/7 and very clean and nice - rooms are quite spacious - car parking is available at a per-day rate - the staff is amazing (=D)

Our stay at the IHG was really comfortable, affordable for a family of four and the staff made us feel very welcome not only when we arrived, but throughout our stay. To name a few, Melissa and Tama, as well as the rest of the lovely staff, were exceptional, courteous, and always willing to assist us with anything we needed. The restaurant meals were excellent. The Hot Buffet Breakfast was amazing and consistently delicious. It was constantly filled up. Most importantly, we felt very privileged to have the restaurant staff pack our breakfast for us in the early morning before travelling to Milford Sound. The hotel was always spotlessly clean, owing to the superb housekeeping team. I definitely recommend this hotel to every one of my family and friends.

The manageress was amazing! We booked through booking.com who had actually over sold their standard rooms so upon arrival we had no accommodation, this was after we’d realised our original accomodation elsewhere was booked for the incorrect dates that evening. The lady managed to sort us all a room each. The seating/dining area is lovely, very modern and welcoming, a real good hustle vibe in the morning for breakfast. The food and drinks were really good value for money in the evening. Service was great and the staff really friendly. My room (can’t speak on behalf of my other colleagues) was wonderful. Spotless and clean. Again, very modern and had everything you needed. If you’d forgotten basic toiletries you could call down to reception ahead of collecting those complimentary. Breakfast was a good selection of pastries, fruit, breads, cooked and cereals. Hotel has a gym and a sauna which I didn’t use. Richard, on reception in the morning was alsovery helpful. Thank you! Overall, would recommend this hotel.

I liked multifunction concept throughout - the reception is a bar at the same time, the breakfast hall is a working hall in the afternoon, the shower door is a bathroom door by turning it 90 degrees. The hotel looks new and modern, the choice of pillows is wonderful, the shower is spacious and breakfast warm/cold choice of food is very balanced.
